Who We Are – Canada Rates is the leading online marketplace that helps you locate a lender who can help meet your needs. There are more than 250 participating Lenders on the Canada Rates network.

Information We Collect – There are several areas on Canada Rates where you may be asked to enter both personal and non-personal information. We DO NOT sell or share any personal information about you to or with any person or organization except: as authorized by you, to participating lenders, or as may be required by law or court order.

Information we receive from you on qualification forms – When you come to Canada Rates to complete a qualification form you’ll need to provide personal and financial information such as your name, phone number, e-mail address, and other financial information depending upon whether your requesting help with a home loan, insurance or debt consolidation.  We do not collect any personal data you may input into to any calculators on our site.

How your information is used – We use the information you provide on your qualification form to match you with up to a participating lender, agent, or credit counselor.

Sharing information with our participating lenders – At your direction (when you click on the “Submit” button), the information that you provide to us on the qualification form will be sent through the Canada Rates system and presented to not more than five of our participating lenders who offer the types of products (new house purchase, refinance loan, etc.) you have identified. We recommend that you contact them directly for more information about their specific privacy policies.

Sharing information with third parties – We do not share any of your information with third parties.

Altering Information you submit through Canada Rates – You have the ability to change or alter your information before you press the submit button. Once your information is submitted it will be provided to the participating lender, insurance agent, or credit counselor depending on the form you filled out. You may contact these people directly to issue any changes to your information.
